Trusting God

About a week ago my mom asked me if I wanted to go back to public school next year. I instantly said yes, the only problem was my dad was not to sure about it.
My mom told me to pray about it. I did, but instead of asking God if this is what He wants me to do, I begged Him to let me go back.
Two days ago I came across these well-known verses:

Proverbs 3:5-6 - " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Isaiah 55:8-9- " ' For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' declares the Lord. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.'"

Jeremiah 29:11- "' For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, ' plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.'"

I had not been trusting in God and had been leaning on my own understanding. I never stopped to think that maybe God's plan for me is to be home schooled for my senior year and that His ways are completely different to my ways. So I prayed about it and I finally have peace about what I am going to do next year.

Trust the Lord
